It's amazing how people think they're living in an oppressive fascist
dictatorship yet somehow manage to get full access to the media and the
Internet to spread their message. They never realize how much of a
contradiction that is.
I don't see it as a contradiction at all. Who but the truly oppressed
are going to work hardest in order to GET their message out? The fact
"work" ? WORK ??? you just post it to the fucking world, what work
was that ???
Post by unknownthat the internet exists makes it much easier now to be hear but
internet access doesn't exist because of governmental largesse. The
yes it does. When the government gets around to it, it will restrict
the internet as it sees fit. In the meantime we do exist because of
their largesse. Don't believe it ? I suggest you visit the "fairness
doctrine." This little Orwellian doublespeak can be applied to
anything seen fit, including the internet. Who is for the "fairness
doctrine" ? Boxer and all the rest of the Demo's PLUS the EX-Dem
Lott.
Post by unknowninternet is available world wide and operates much to the chagrin of
truly repressive regimes, such as those in China and North Korea. In
it doesn't operate in NK to anyone's chagrin. What makes you think
people eating grass and tree bark are surfing the internet ?
China isn't a warm fuzzy panda bear either. They arrest people on a
daily basis for internet postings, etc. The internet isn't changing
them.
Post by unknownour own country the people HAVE become more oppressed over the years,
there's no denying that. The passage of every bill into law either
limits, curtails, or ends something (a right, freedom, etc.) that once
existed. We may still be The Land Of The Free, we're just not as free
as we USED to be.......
AMEND to that ...
Sticking up for Boxer is sheer nonsense. The link given links to a
thousand other links so I don't know what she said but I find it
inconceivable to believe it wasn't a purely hysterical partisan rant
which bears little relevance to actual problems.
In short Boxer is an idiot, so is the entire left coast, so are all
Demo's, Not that Repub's aren't either, just the others are bigger
and better at it.
